The Incredible and Fun Shaq Talk at Goldman Sachs with Gary Cohn

Shaq, and Gary Cohn once sat down for a talk at Goldman Sachs. Athletes are so underrated in their thinking and intelligence. They have spent their entire lives working with teams, and trying to build something great. If you take anything away from this talk, it's the rare ability Shaq has to combine humor, and seriousness. He even talks about that when he want back to get his doctorates.

His favorite nickname? "BIG ARISTOTLE."

"After I got my masters, my mother said, you know we don't have any doctors in the family. I had to jump on that, so it took my five years, it was tough. My thesis was on the duality of humor and seriousness in leadership styles. I was anxious to see what style was more effective. A humorous guy like myself, or a serious guy like you (points at Gary Cohn, the crowd erupts in laughter). I realized that each person has to modulate between the two. That's the key."
