Anthony Bourdain On Crab, Chicken Bones, and Al Qaeda

We wrote this post in late 2014. We're sharing it again today to pay homage to Bourdain, and what he built. At the end of the day, he's an inspiration.

Anthony Bourdain was once in Brazil exploring the culture and food. At one point he found himself on a small isolated beach enjoying fresh caught crab. Then, while the cameras were rolling, he dropped a line of genius. Here's what he said about eating crab:
"When people started demanding boneless stuff like chicken without a bone, or crab meat without actual crab, or lazy lobster. That was the beginning of the erosion of our society as we know it. If you're not willing to work for a pay-off like this, how do you expect to fight Al Qaeda. If you can't suck the meat out of a fucking crab. It's a character builder. And delicious." - Anthony Bourdain
