The Value Of All Stocks Being Traded Is Dropping Fast

Here is an interesting chart that we just have to share.

It shows the total of amount of stocks traded as a total dollar value. You will notice that in 2007, at the peak, more than $60 trillion worth of stocks was traded on stock exchanges around the US.

But perhaps even more fascinating, and the reason for this chart to be shared in the first place, is that since then the total dollar value of all stocks being traded has continued to drop. Today, a little more $20 trillion is traded each year. The lowest level since 2005.
