There Are Far Too Many Low-Paying Jobs In America Right Now

There is a new report out from the National Employment Law Project and policy makers across the country are reading it. One segment stands out in particular and we embedded the accompanying chart below.

The chart below shows that since the 2008 financial crisis the majority of new jobs created have been low paying. These jobs pay $9.48-$13.33/hour. It's time for government officials to start talking about underemployment and the minimum wage. Take a look:
