- 25% of all sports fans in the U.S. believe that their favorite team has been cursed at some point in its existence.

- 26% say that they have at one point prayed to God asking him to help their team win. Of those that prayed, 19% said God actually played a role in determining the outcome of that game. 

- 25% of all football fans in the U.S. perform some sort of ritual either before or during a game.

- 66% of all people who perform rituals before or during games wear their favorite team's jersey or colors thinking that it will have a greater impact on the outcome of the game.

- More than half of all Americans and roughly 70 million people believe that at some point a god or supernatural power changed the outcome of a game.
